Finchley-based mum, Elise Mendelle, has sold London maternity business, Bundle-O-Joy to a Cheshire mumpreneur, Emma Dalzell. Bundle-O-Joy was set up a year ago by Elise, a mother of three, whilst she was on maternity leave.

Elise wanted to return to her chiropractor profession full-time but realised that she had built up great value in the online maternity business and so wanted to sell it to someone who could take it to the next level. So, Cheshire-based businesswoman, Emma Dalzell, is taking over making maternity easy with her purchase of the business, which was set up to provide pregnant women fashionable yet elegant, mix and match maternity bundles through its website – a unique concept in the maternity clothing world.

Emma recognised the potential in Bundle-O-Joy and with her 20 years of experience marketing some of the country’s best-known brands, she is excited with the opportunity of developing the business further.

Bundle-O-Joy already offers classic bundles of essential items, themed bundles for sporty or business mums-to-be and stylish summer bundles and Emma plans to expand the range with new bundles on her mission to help pregnant women look and feel great without the effort.

It’s something that Emma is passionate about because of her frustrating shopping experiences whilst pregnant with her daughter. “Bundle-O-Joy is a great concept. When I was pregnant, I discovered how difficult it can be finding good quality, stylish maternity clothes – it’s not a great experience, especially if you’re already feeling tired. Elise has given the business a great foundation and I’m thrilled to be buying it and taking it forward” says Emma, who also owns Cheshire-based marketing company, Bare Bones Marketing.

Elise says “I’m pleased to be selling the business to Emma who has some exciting plans for the future. She’s going to be re-launching the website soon with some new stock, but I’m thrilled that she’ll be keeping the Bundle-O-Joy vision of “Maternity Made Easy”, which is to help make pregnancy easier and more enjoyable in the form of happy, comfortable and stylish mums-to-be.”
