Introducing….Susanne Remic, our December Pregger of the Month. I ‘met’ Susanne via Twitter a few months ago and after her glowing review of her Bundle-O-Joy mini bundle (custom designed), I managed to convince her to be this month’s featured bump!
How far along are you?
I am 29 weeks and 3 days!
Have you got any other children or is this the first?
I have two other children: Eva is 7 and Luka is 2.
What are you most excited about?
Meeting the baby and finding out whether it is a boy or a girl!
What are you most nervous about?
Like most women, the birth. I am having an elective section due to having already had 2 emergency sections but the thought of the operation still makes me very nervous.
Most inappropriate pregnant remark made to you?
“You’re very big for 20 weeks, aren’t you? Are you sure it isn’t twins?!”
Have you found it difficult to stay stylish while pregnant?
Yes and no. At first, my bump was very small so I just looked as though I had put on weight, which is annoying. I was too small for maternity clothes but too big for my normal clothes so finding an outfit that looked nice and fitted was difficult. As my bump grew, I found more clothes that suited me. I still maintain that comfort is the most important thing but luckily there are some really nice maternity clothes out there now to choose from- more so than when I was pregnant the first time.
What are you most enjoying about your pregnancy?
Feeling the baby kick, watching the bump grow bigger, not feeling sick constantly… I could go on! This is probably our last baby so I’m trying my best to make the most of it and always take the time to remember how lucky I am, even when I am up for the twentieth time in the night to use the loo!
What is your biggest gripe?
I wish that I could roll over in bed without having to sit up first! I’m also feeling very squashed up inside so it would be nice to breathe a little easier too. Other than that, I’m really enjoying this pregnancy.
Have you had any crazy cravings?
Not at all. I’m craving fruit but I always eat a lot anyway and that’s not exactly crazy.
Did you find out what you are having? Explain why (either way)…
We decided not to find out this time as we already had one of each so the waiting is becoming harder and harder! We thought that since we already had pink and blue baby clothes stashed away, it made no difference this time.
